Though we train clients of all ages and fitness levels, we specialize in working with adults 50+ and those with special or unique needs (chronic pain, injury rehab, etc.)

The virtual experience is exactly the same as our studio and in-home training, except you connect with your trainer virtually. It is a great option for those who travel, do not want a service provider in their home, or who live outside our service areas.

INVESTMENT

We offer two levels of service: Express (40-minute sessions) and Platinum (60-minute sessions + extra perks). Rates begin at $60/session (Express) and go up from there depending on the level of service you choose, how many sessions you purchase at once and how often you train. We don’t post it here simply to avoid confusion – but you will receive a full price sheet after your free first workout. No secrets or surprises!

WHAT TO EXPECT: OUR UNIQUE PROCESS

One of the things that sets us apart from other personal training services is our unique process, which we’ve honed over the course of more than 17 years in business. Here’s an overview of how it works and what you can expect:

01.

CONSULTATION & FIRST WORKOUT

You will meet virtually with one of our managers (Poul, Andre or Audrey) who will ask you some questions, walk you through a physical assessment, and discuss both your goals and your options as it relates to service level and pricing/packages. If you’re a ‘yes’ right away, we’ll get you to fill out some onboarding forms at that time – and then set you up with one of our fantastic trainers. If you’re not quite ready or want to think about it, we will leave you with all the info you need to make an informed decision on your own time.

02.

WORKOUTS BEGIN!

You will receive everything you need for your workout – including your link to join – via email.


All you have to do is click through at your designated time, ready to work and have some fun. Behind the scenes we’ll be collaborating closely to ensure you’re on-track, making progress and avoiding plateaus.

03.

ONGOING MEASUREMENTS & CHECK-INS

We will re-assess you at designated intervals (to be determined together when you sign up to work with us). When the time comes, a manager will attend one of your sessions with your trainer (after arranging it with you first), to measure your progress, and – no doubt – celebrate the results. 

At this meeting, you’ll revisit your goals and perhaps set new ones, and the cycle begins again.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Virtual personal training is almost exactly the same as our other offerings except that we connect via a screen instead of in person. It was born out of necessity in the pandemic, but we found it works surprisingly well and some people prefer it.

Although we won’t be in the same space as you, our personal trainers are physically present over video conferencing software – fully attentive to guide you safely and effectively through a customize exercise program. 

Our clients also love the human connection and interaction of connecting live – so much better than a pre-recorded video or streamed group class. 

Every workout is completely customized for you and different from the last to keep things challenging and fun. 

Finally, we are committed to ensuring your workouts are effective and safe – which is a big and important one, especially if you’re over 50 or have special or unique needs. You don’t get that with a recording.

Nope! All you need is a 6’ x 6’ space and a laptop, tablet (or phone, in a pinch).

A good workout is based on effective design, not expensive exercise equipment. Whether you have a full gym or nothing but an exercise mat, we’ll teach you how to use what you’ve got to achieve results. 

We can also recommend some small and inexpensive exercise tools if you’re interested!

Typically our clients train with us 2 or 3 times per week, though some clients train once. We can certainly make a recommendation at your initial consultation based on your goals, timeline and budget. 

Yes! If you’re not 100% fully satisfied with your experience after three weeks we will return every dime of your investment – no questions asked. 

There is strength in numbers – a partner can be a great motivator, and almost always makes for an extra-fun workout.

You can absolutely train with another person virtually, either in the same location or in different locations. Contact us for more info!

Yes. We’ll walk you through all the options at your free consultation and first workout!

First of all, it’s important to note that we have incredibly high standards for our trainers – nobody makes the cut unless they are excellent, kind and know their stuff inside-out and backwards.

That said, if for any reason you aren’t satisfied with your trainer – or don’t feel they’re a fit for you – all you have to do is reach out [to our client success manager] and we’ll make it right. No questions asked.

That’s the goal! We will match you up with one of our (excellent!) trainers based on your goals and needs and they will be your primary trainer. Sometimes you will also have a secondary trainer – for example, if you’re training multiple times per week. 

No – this is one of the best things about training. No two workouts will ever be the same. You can expect every single one to be dynamic, fun and a challenge – in the best possible way. 

If you are in Toronto or Collingwood, you can also work with us from the comfort of your own home, or in one of our private personal training studios.

We can work with you wherever you are in the world. And we are in the Eastern Timezone (New York & Toronto) – train clients seven days a week, from 5am to 11pm ET, which covers virtually any timezone globally.
